Samsung has come up with washing machines that fall under two broad categories: Fully automatic and Semi Automatic.

Fully Automatic Models:
These models use the Silver Nano Technology. Silver Nano ions (AG+) penetrate deep into the fabric at a molecular level and removes impurities and bacteria from the clothes, thus leaving them totally fresh and sterilized.

During washing and rinsing, silver (Ag+) are produced and the colloidal silver solution penetrates the laundry to coat the fibres with Ag+ ions.

During the wash cycle a layer of positive silver ions get deposited and prevents growth of germs for upto 30 days which is the benefit of this technology. Fully automatic have two more models: the top loading and front loading models.

Fully Automatic (Top loading model)
There are nine models in this category. The following features are available with these models: Super clean, Tornado pulsator, i-control system and transparent window.
